There’s still time for families to sign up for Read Aloud Delaware’s Lena Start program in Spanish. Sessions will begin this Friday, February 26, 2021 and take place every Friday thereafter from 10-11:00 am via Zoom (with the exception of Friday, 3/26 and Friday, April 5, 2021). The program is totally free for parents of children birth to three.
Please help spread the word about this wonderful program that enabled the first cohort of families to increase words and conversational turns with their young children by 14% as well as increasing the amount of time parents read aloud to their children by an average of 23 minutes!
Interested families can use the link below to register for the program. Once on the site, they can click on the “Padres” tab and then “Inicio de Lena.”
Lena Start teaches parents to recognize opportunities to weave more talk into their daily routines because early talk builds babies’ brains!
