I am Yumarys A. Polanco-Miller, a member and collaborator with the La Colectiva de Delaware Network. I am passionate about public libraries, research and helping others. I am committed to the community I serve and wish to empower it through knowledge and information.
I continually explore ways to give back to the community that has generously helped and supported me. That support inspired me to develop resources and activities to improve community members’ lives through education. My desire to help immigrants apply for citizenship and benefits prompted me to develop a web page: LGILSD (Local & Global Immigration Law Services in Delaware).
The LGILSD web page lists free or low-cost local and global immigration law and related services in Delaware and nearby. LGILSD’s mission is to help libraries and organizations link people with free or low-cost local and global immigration law services. The information in LGILSD is divided in four parts:

The website’s content sources and history are documented in the reference and credits and about sections.
In addition to LGILSD, a PDF version is frequently updated and available for people who want a printed copy of the resources.
LGILSD is a living site and document that will be reviewed and updated frequently. I will respond to suggestions and recommendations to improve the site and its content. In that regard, please send suggestions and/or recommendations to enrich LGILSD.
